Vasiliki sits at the far southern end of Lefkada, and for most visitors it is the wrong side of the island for a boat day — every operator seems to start in Nidri, a winding drive away. With AURA you don't make that drive. Boarding is normally at Nydri or Preveza, but by arrangement the boat comes round to Vasiliki bay and collects you from the harbour, at no extra charge.
Being in the south is actually an advantage at sea. Cape Lefkatas and the white cliffs of Porto Katsiki and Egremni are a short run west, and Fiskardo on Kefalonia lies just across the strait. That makes Vasiliki the natural starting point for the Lefkada cliffs cruise and for the Kefalonia and Ithaca routes.
